Hot Air and Greenhouse Gases (2002)
This Story of the Month: Reissue takes us back to 2002 and the important issues of greenhouse gases, global warming, and economic growth. This simple model examines the dynamics between these issues by first looking at the relationship between greenhouse gases and global warming and then extends to explore the relationship between global warming and economic growth. The model concludes that it will be very difficult to reduce the growth of greenhouse gases, showing that the only way to do so is to make the outflow of greenhouse gases greater than the inflow.
How accurate were our predictions at that time? Where are we now and what can we do to continue to find a solution to this issue?
